Bio

My civilian career included 31 years as a Traffic Signal Electronics Technician, where I retired as the Foreman of the Traffic signal Maintenance Group.

Military Experiences

Jan 1986 - Jan 2001
Reserve Bandsman, Euphonium
Euphonium was my Primary MOS with the 98th Div. Reserve Band, but I also had played Trombone, Piano, and Guitar with the various ensembles. Most of our summer camps were spent relieving the Band at Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri.
1980 - Jul 1984
USS Kidd (DDG-993)
FTG2 MK 86 System
I was a plankowner, and by the end of my assignment on the Kidd had become the MK-86 Work Center supervisor. During my time on the Kidd we had earned the honor of being the Top Gun in the Atlantic Fleet. I did a North Atlantic Cruise, and a Med Cruise on the Kidd. I was also assigned to the Kidd when we supported troops in Beiruit Lebannon (just before the bombing), and when we went to Granada to support Operation Urgent Fury.
Jul 1978 - Dec 1979
Trainee
Went through Basic Training, Basic Electricity and Electronic School, FTG A School, Mk 86 Class C School.
