Senior Master Sergeant Daniel S. Yoder is the Security Forces Manager, 157th Security Forces Squadron, Pease Air National Guard Base, New Hampshire. He is responsible for the welfare, professional development, and combat readiness of 86 security forces personnel within the squadron, and manages all aspects of security in support of Protection Level three assets in the “Live Free or Die” state.
Senior Master Sergeant Yoder was born July 31, 1962, in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, and graduated from Farmington High School, NH, in May 1981. He enlisted in the Air Force in Feb 1982. Senior Yoder graduated as a Security Forces Specialist and reported to Minot A.F.B., ND working in all aspects of security and cross trained into law enforcement. Senior Yoder was also a Chief of Police and retired from the Air Force in 2012

• Lead Base Defense Training for 30 man deploying team, covering 160 hrs in lesson plans/battle/weapon drills, the result ensured Security Forces survivability.
• Decisive leadership contributed to failsafe security for the base, allowing 840 sortie missions of cargo and personnel to 12 Forward Operating Bases.
• Authored first ever Wing Installation Security Plan and Security Instruction; vital to base defense responsible for securing $3.6B in combat assets.
• Directed the creation of the first ever tracking database for 315 plus items/equipment, which accounted for $1.5M in Security Forces equipment and supplies.
