I am a draftsman with 10 years experience. I have an Associates Degree in Drafting and Design from ITT Technical College; Norwood, Ohio campus. I graduated top of the class with a 3.98 GPA. I was laid off when the economy crashed in 2008 and haven't been able to re-enter the work force in my trade since then. I have had to take a part time job out of my career just to have a job. Thanks Obama!

Hull Maintenance Technician (HT)

USS Okinawa (LPH-3), Decommissioned Ships | San Diego, CA

We were in semi dry dock in Long Beach, CA at the San Pedro ship yard all summer1974 and then down to Diego until January 1975 when we left for Westpac-Subic Bay. We evacuated Cambodia first then later Saigon, Viet Nam. My father-in-law was in Viet Nam 1st time 1957 and I was there in 1975, so my family served in Viet Nam from the beginning of the war to the end! We were mostly at Subic but also at Manila, Okinawa, Hong Kong and Singapore. We were scheduled to go to Bangkok, Thailand, and then Japan, but I was flown to San Francisco via Clark AFB for discharge before the ship went to Japan.
