• Primary trainer and personnel manager for over 900 Soldiers, including direct mentorship of six company First Sergeants and three Detachment Sergeants. Responsible for the training, administration, health, morale, and discipline of the battalion, principle advisor to the commander on unit tactics and the primary advisor for collective training as well as QC on individual war fighting skills such as small arms and crew served qualification, Short Range Marksmanship (SRM), Urban Operations (UO), Junior Leader development, and enforcement of standards. • Planned and supervised all battalion casualty collection and evacuation for six companies and three detachments. Resolved family and Soldier issues. Maintained oversight on logistical support and maintenance on all assigned equipment.

Brigade Operations (S3) Sergeant Major
• Responsible for the operations of a Maneuver Enhancement Brigade with over 2500 Soldiers consisting of Engineer, Military Police, Chemical, and Support Battalions. Provided full direction to junior leaders, quality control over all orders production, and supervised set up and running of the Brigade Tactical Operations Center (TOC). Advised the Brigade Commander and Operations Officer on maneuver. Maintained accountability for all classified material and designed defensive base camps for Brigade operations. • Ensured that the Brigade level MDMP stayed on track to meet the Brigade Commanders planning timeline. Managed all Brigade level Operations while in garrison and created movement, TOC, and SOPs while ensuring compliance of operational directives in a tactical environment.

ISF Operations Sergeant Major
• Coordinated support for 23 Military and National Police Transition teams in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Conducted daily Battle Field Circulation (BFC) to four Iraqi Army and National Police compounds, Combat Outposts (COPs) as well as Joint Security Stations (JSSs) throughout Baghdad. Coordinated the force protection plan for all ISF Distinguished Visitors (DVs) for offsite Rusafa Area Command (RAC) security meetings, and on site at FOB Loyalty, Baghdad. • Managed billeting for all tenant and transient Transition Teams under Brigade Combat Team control. Completed the Operational Readiness Assessment (ORA) which was briefed to Congress monthly. Ensured Iraqi Security Forces maintained standards at Iraqi mandated check points and collected best practices across the battle space.
