Operation Desert Shield/Storm
Assigned to the Headquarters Battalion Aid Station. Went across the border with the 2nd Marine Division Forward Element. Camped outside Kuwait City for about a month after the War finished. Remained behind on Rear Party while the Division went back to the states, packing up all the gear to send back.

South America
Cruised around the entire coast of South America with the Annual UNITAS training cruise. Had our Marine Corps Ball in Valparaiso, Chile. We were in Panama 20-days before the Invasion, but continued on to Venezuela to finish the cruise. Our platoon of Navy SEALS stayed behind in Panama and were a part of raiding Noriega's airport.

Japan
Unit Deployment to Camp Schwab, with India-Company 3/2. Deployed to Phillipines from Dec-87 to Jan-88, then Did Cold Weather training at Mt. Fuji and then onto a Japanese base somewhere in Northern Japan for 6-weeks.
