Bio
Served on active duty Army and Navy. I hold 8 mos's, actually graduated from all the schools, did not OJT a single one. Figured one day I would find my calling. With a 131 GT score, I found out the Infantry world was for me. From Chaplains Assistant to 11B go figure.
Have owned three Companies of my own, lawn care, landscaping, lot sweeping. Currently work at MARS station on Fort Huachuca.
Military Experiences
Nov 2012 - Dec 2013
WTU, Trasitioning Squad Leader
Retired as. 11B, it was the MOS I had worked in the longest, 13 yrs 10 months 23 days. Only worked as a 42A after AIT for May 12th 2012 til Nov 17th 2012 as S1 NCOIC and Second platoon PSG. Talk about out of the skillet and into the fire. Guess I didn't do to bad, got the BDE CSM, BDE Commander, BN Commander. And BN CSM Coins and one heck of an NCOER. So remember whatever your job is NEW Fresh out of AIT. Or if you had the MOS for a while, you only get out of it what you put into it. I know the BN CSM was going nuts. S1 OIC had just finished college and it was his first duty station and he was an 88M Transportation and was clue less. And the S1 NCOIC just graduated from AIT because of a medical reclass. Funny we never missed a report, award, pay corrections or judicial paper delivery. Drove the Poor Guy nuts, after the first two months, he came in the LT office and told us he was going to stop worrying about the S1 shop. He was not sure how we were doing it and he did not want to know either, just keep doing what are doing, the BN Commander (Who had come from an Infantry Command) said the are the way S1 Reports are supposed to be. short to the point with accurate numbers. Hint, I was just doing the reports like the ones I gave in 1-18 INF When I was the Schools NCO. Thanks SFC PURDY, that class on reports was invaluable!
