Operated as a rifleman, radio operator, team leader and squad leader in both training and combat situations. Deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Honorably discharged. Awarded: National Defense Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Korean Defense Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy Unit Citation Ribbon
