Bio 

Command Master Chief (EWX/FMF/DMT/PJ) Scott T. Mason enlisted in the Navy July of 1985 throughout the majority of his career he served with US Marine infantry units as Fleet Marine Force Hospital Corpsman. During this time some notable units he served with as Senior Enlisted Leader were 4th Air Naval Gun Liaison Company, and 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company. He rose the ranks to Senior Chief Corpsman and transfer as SEL of H&S Company of 4th Medical Battalion in 2010 promoting to Master Chief that same year. Upon being selected for the Command Master Chief program he transfer to Maritime Expeditionary Security Squadron 12 as the CMC where he led the return from EAU deployment and disestablishment of the unit in 2014. He served his final command at Navy Cargo Handling Battalion 11 on Blount Island Jacksonville, FL retiring in 2015 supporting multiple rotations to OEF. Command Master Chief Mason is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy and CMC/COB course in Newport, RI. He holds an Associates of Science Degree from the Andrew Jackson University Birmingham, Alabama. During his service he multiple deployments in support of OCONUS exercises and combat operations. He is Command Master Chief Mason is an Enlisted Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Deep Sea Medical Diver, and Navy & Marine Corps Parachutist. His personal awards include the, Meritorious Service Medal with Third Gold Star, Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal, with Gold Star & Navy & Marine Corps Navy Achievement Medal, along with various unit and campaign awards.
