I grew up in Scott County Virginia and Hawkins County Tennessee. I joined the Navy at 18 and did 5 1/2 years. I’ve worked for a military contractor, a mining equipment company, a newspaper, and a tire manufacturer. I’ve been married for 23 years and I’m a member of the American Legion. Life is great. But I miss my shipmates.
