I was a lifelong 98K but my first two assignments were tactical at the 326th ASA and the 166th ASA later to become MI BNs. II then went to Field Station Augsburg and learned about my MOS. I then went to Pensacola as an Instructor and then Drill Sergeant. I then went to Boise Idaho as a Security Interviewer and finished my last tour at NSA. I was a good leader and took every job I had seriously.

Return of forces to Germany was an exercise where the main Army Units in Germany deployed to play war games every year to prepare for the possibility of fighting the Russians in the Fulda Gap Scenario. I was part of a jamming team assigned to the Brits. We obtained enemy unit frequencies and jammed them to disrupt communications.
