My Name is SFC Gaines, Jonathan. I have been in the Army for 18 years. I love the concept of the Army. However, the way that the Army has become over the last 5 or 10 years has become frustrating. In most cases, Soldiers don't want to earn promotions through hard work and dedication. Most soldiers feel that promotions should be given and not earned.
