Boom Operator
Performed air-to-air refueling for both US and Coalition Forces. Supervised onload, transport and offload of various cargo to include hazardous items. Was responsible for calculating aircraft weight and balance. Designated passenger handling expert responsible for the comfort and needs of those aboard. Worked directly with aircraft engineer to complete required forms prior to engine start. Represented aircrew to all agencies abroad, i.e. cargo loading personnel, passenger handling services, fleet services, command and control agencies. Commanded radios during air refueling. Also utilizes radios to correspond with base command and control agency during engine start, take off, decent and landing. Held tons of secondary duties conus and oconus.
