Currently recovering from bilateral lung transplant. Transplant was necessary treatment for pulmonary fibrosis caused by a lung infection that was first diagnosed as pneumonia while deployed in Afghanistan. I am one of thousands of Soldiers suffering from burn-pit and heavy-metal dust exposure.
