I'm from Scottsdale, Arizona and joined the Navy after graduating from Horizon High School in 2000. After the Navy, I married, had two children, and started at the University. I fell in love with Human Biology--so much so that I started a Master's degree specializing in PTSD. I have volunteered extensively at an urgent care shadowing an MD and hope to attend medical school when life permits.
