I have had a varied career thus far. After leaving the Navy, I worked in food manufacturing environments, a titanium metals foundry, and as a Union Ironworker. I have also had experience in the restaurant industry after the Navy and catering roles for small clubs. I have strived to gain experiences in various industries with very different leadership styles to become more educated in leadership.
In my varied roles, I have learned manufacturing processes, metal forging and milling techniques, along with welding skills and blueprint reading. I have learned to safely operate many different pieces of heavy equipment to include cranes, loaders, drill platforms, commercial vehicles, and tracked excavation equipment. Also, I have been instructed in the use of GIS and I am using on most office programs.

Culinary Specialist (CS)
I gained invaluable experience in the culinary field,completed advanced military leadership courses, and ongoing training in basic kitchen skills. I became proficient in preparing various cuisines, quantity cooking, safety & sanitation, menu management, cost control, purchasing, and material management. After becoming a Petty Officer, I completed classes in leadership, conflict communications, strategic planning, peer training, and continued my professional development.
