First year out of boot camp was stationed in Beeville TX delivering supplies to aircraft hanger ,then got orders to USS Great Sitkin AE 17 where I was a deck hand for 6 months the was chosen to be captain driver and coxswain for captains gig for the remainder of my deployment witch ended on feb 9 1967 day before my 21st birthday
Worked as a diesel mechanic , bag handler loading salt, then heavy equipment operator Worked at the salt mine for 29 years before that worked in construction right after getting out Was brought up on a farm in western NY
