Degree in ophthalmic technology..certified. Worked as ophthalmic technologist beginning in 1971 and recently retired in 2013.
Military Experiences
Hospital Corpsman (HM)
Started boot camp July of 1966 and after boot camp went to hospital corps school (company 6664) graduated along with 70 other corpsmen in February 1967 after which our entire corps school company went to FMF training with the USMC in Camp LeJune, N.C. After graduating from FMF training I was assigned to serve at Memphis Naval Hospital March 1967 until being sent to VietNam 3-68 with the FMF. Was assigned to Mag-11/1MAW and from there went on to fly medevacs with Mag-39 in Quang Tri. Upon returning to the states, I was assigned to the NRTC in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Where I finished my military career as an active duty station keeper training reservists and heading the medical department.

Vietnam War
Flew medevacs with MAG-39 in Quang Tri. Major accomplishment was keeping my wounded fellow marines alive during transport from the field to either the battalion aid station or to the hospital ship depending on the type and severity of wounds.
