I am currently working at a hospital in MA What I do is take all procedure and office visits, as well as inpatient charges and code them according to the AMA standards so that the hospital, facilities, and doctors can get paid for there services. I am currently going to school full time to obtain my certification in billing and coding. When I obtain this AS degree I really want to work for VA.
