As a battalion marine terminal operations officer in Japan during two overseas annual training deployments, advised US Forces Japan J-4 and Joint Logistics Readiness Center counterparts regarding marine terminal and logistics management issues during two major command post exercises. Coordinated with key military and civilian exercise participants at brigade and major command level, and operated secure communications and computer applications in a classified workspace. Prepared scheduled and short-notice staff briefings to commanders, exercise officials, and official visitors. During stateside periods between deployments, completed the Senior Transportation Officer Course and other correspondence courses to enhance technical knowledge in the marine transportation career field.

Installation Operations Officer (IMA)
As an installation operations officer at Camp Atterbury Indiana for one 29-day annual training deployment, recommended procedural refinements to the Installation Mobilization Plan which were implemented prior to a subsequent reserve component mobilization exercise. During home station periods before and after training, reviewed and revised existing unit and installation level readiness plans and SOP's so that they complemented higher headquarters and reserve command mobilization documents. Revision project was accomplished independently, with minimal revisions required prior to approval. Completed Army Correspondence courses and other self-study to gain and enhance technical competence in mobilization and readiness issues.
