Uneventful. Older, non-athlete O-1 on Fat Guy program and extra PT, still failed all 6 PT tests. I don't think I wasted Army time though and was an adequate new nurse for the officers, soldiers, dependants, and MEDDACs.

15 days with OKARANG unit 245 MEd Co (CLR) on the veterinary team to Xepatan with Col. Baumwart, 1SG Baker, Ssgt Davis, Sgt Loper, helicoptering in and out of the mountains from underutilized base outside Guatemala City. Visited Antigua, also. Bandits/communists in the hills around us. Issued three magazines of ammo and a .45 for my hip.
