I joined the Nebraska Army National Guard in Dec 1997. I went to Basic Training, AIT and Airborne School the following spring. I was a single channel (HF) radio operator (31C). I commissioned in December 2000, as a Quartermaster Officer. In 2010, I transitioned to functional area 40 as a Space Operations Officer.
