After attending boot camp and initial training as a submariner and sonar technician in 2000 I was assigned to the USS Maryland (SSBN) 738 B where I completed 4 strategic deterrent patrols. In October of 2003 I cross rated to Master-At- Arms and was stationed at NSA Naples Italy and NSB New London with a deployment to the Detainee Camps in GTMO during this period.
