Bio
I spent a little over a year on Adak, Alaska in the Aleutian Islands guarding nukes. All is declassified now and a quick google search you can see whats left. After the end of the Cold War the Naval Base was decommissioned.
After that I was assigned to Golf 2/7 where I spent most of the next few years. 7th Marines wet moving to 29 Palms and I opted to transfer to Echo 2/5 and stay at San Mateo.

I was an 0311 by choice where I could hopefully see the action. Besides a lot of moving around the only action I got was some localized sniper fire but nowhere that I had opportunity to fire back. Did have a short stint helping with makeshift POW camps for the ones that surrendered. Most were civilians forced to fight or family would be killed.
