• Hand selected to develop and implement the curriculum for the Infantry Weapons Officer Course for the Marine Corps.
• Handpicked for exemplary performance from all mortar men in the Marines by the only Chief Warrant Officer five in the Corps
• Placed in charge of a partnering team where one 1st LT and I trained 300 Afghanistan National Army soldiers; teaching them the tactics used in operations by the Marine Corps.
o Results: The first IED (Improvised Explosive Device) find in the country of Afghanistan by the local Army with a metal detector.
