I starting out delivering a local newspaper in my town when I was 14. When I turned 16, I got my first "real" job working as a bagger and cashier at a local super market. After the grocery store went out of business when i was 17, I started working at Best Buy in New London, CT. After working there for 2 years I briefly worked at American Eagle, before joining the USCG, where I served for 8 years.
