Col Bruce S. Ambrose

I was directly commissioned as an Air Force Judge Advocate in June 1985. On active duty I served as an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate; a Circuit Trial Counsel; Deputy Branch Chief; and Trial Attorney. I left active duty in 1993 and immediately entered the ARC Category B program. My Reserve attachments have been as a Reserve Instructor at the Air Force Judge Advocates’ School; Assistant Prosecutor in the Office of Military Commissions; IMA to the Deputy SJA at 19th Air Force; Senior IMA to the Chief Trial Judge; Senior IMA at AFSOC/JA; Senior IMA at AFSPC/JA; and Senior IMA at ACC/JA. In 2008 I was awarded the Outstanding Career Armed Services Attorney Award from the Judge Advocates Association. I was deployed as the Chief of Staff and SJA at ODRP in Pakistan. I retired in June 2014.
