The contribution of my military background with specialized skills in leadership, administrative and linguistic functions (German) within the US and abroad allow me to believe that I would be an asset to your organization. Over nine years’ experience with focus on all levels of HR to include personnel strength accounting, awards, finance, evaluations, timekeeping.

Mar 2009 - May 2012
HR Sergeant / Squad Leader / German Linguist
Served as a Human Resources Supervisor (42A-SSG/E-6) in a diverse 455 employee group in the 82nd Airborne Division; was a technical advisor to the commander and staff on administrative matters, manpower, and personnel management with minimal direction. Provided oversight, and administrative support to the organizations, assignments, reassignments, classification, orders, leave, and pay matters. Interpreted regulations, directives, and policies and advises, assists, and instructs staff.

Prepared reviews for proper format, grammatical correctness, clarity, revisions, processed awards, and officer evaluation reports (OER) and noncommissioned officer evaluation reports (NCOER) based on guidance and precedents. Maintained database of requirements, prepared processes and monitors requests for command sponsorship, family care plans, personnel in/out-processing, personnel accounting and strength management reporting.

Served as a Human Resources Team Leader in a 400 employee group in the 82nd Airborne Division; provided technical advice to the Command Group, Staff and subordinate level leadership on all administrative matters to include pay, benefits, promotions and evaluations. Served as security and safety supervisor for 25 personnel during deployment to Taji, Iraq.

HR Specialist/ Team Leader/ German Linguist
Served as a Human Resources Specialist in a 550 employee group in the 1st Armored Division forward deployed to Germany providing administrative support to all levels of leadership while coordinating partnership events and representing the unit to the host nation and providing translation services between the Command Group and the local populace.
