Bio
I Joined the Army on June 14th 2004. Before the Army i worked as a cook and chefs assistant in several restaurants doing many different tasks from baking to single plate service and line cooking. While serving in the army I have been to a few courses and schools to hone my culinary skills, some of these courses are fine dining workshops at CIA New York, and Mise en place in Denver Colorado. I have been to a Special Forces Meat Processing course at Dewig Meats in Hauptstat, IN. I have been through the US Army Advanced Culinary Course, and have done some local cooking competions on Fort Carson. I take pride in my skill set and do the best to my ability and share my knowledge with my soldiers and peers. I have taken part in and managed our dining facilities Phillip A. Connelly competions in every facility I have been in one of which won DA Level a few weeks after I PCS'ed. The one I managed myself took second place DA Level, but we have also won 1st place runner up twice in the same facility, and in my last facility I worked in.
My fellow Soldiers and I also won the 10th Special Forces Group 2009 Larry Thorne award for best support company within 10th Group. I also have my SOLE International Society of Logistics Senior Logistician Certification and Food Service contract manager course certification, and I am sure there will be more to add to this as I go through the next half of my career.
