Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC)
As the lead controller and on scene commander, I was responsible for maintaining duty schedules daily, maintaining the daily blotter/operational record keeper, creating and maintaining property records, receiving inventory and conducting full accountability, coordinating work orders for restricted area, dispositions, conducting and led movements to include funds movements to high protection level movements, Reporting any discrepancies to the proper channels/higher headquarters, and utilizing Microsoft word, excel, outlook, and power point.

I responsible for the safety and security of all US/Coalition forces .Tasked with the Foreign Nationals under my care were accounted for and ensured completion of set tasks. Alarm Monitor
I served as a Restricted Area Entry Controller, an alarm monitor and a patrolman. Responded and dispatched to all alarms and incidents to ensure safety, security and to prevent loss of Protection Level (PL) resources. Establishing security throughout the bases and perimeters conducting dismounted and mounted patrols. Conducted hundreds of random anti-terrorist Measures increasing police presents. Provided static security and had daily supervision of all restricted areas, ECPs, patrols and all other base resources. Responded to multiple In Flight Emergencies coordinated with fire department and led recovery teams to F-22(AK), C-17(AK) and a F-16(SC) aircraft crash recovering assets. I also maintained and accounted military equipment for the Squadron.

Installation Entry Controller
In support of operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, served as security as well as conducting multiple patrols spanning the entire perimeter. Conducted over-watch at the main ECP and used an uparmered HMMWV as a blocking force as a last resort to prevent unauthorized entry. Responsible for searching vehicles entering and exiting the base utilizing the backscatter X-ray, K-9 and physical searches. Held numerous security tasks such as searching all people attempting to enter the base utilizing the DBIDS, FIDO explosive detector, metal detectors, X-ray scanners and physical hand searches. Opened and closed hydraulic gates, arm bars and pop-up barriers.
