Chief, Coalition Lessons Learned, HQ, Department of the Army
Primarily responsible for the execution of the Army's plan to conduct a major combined operation in Europe. This operation consisted of over 2000 soldiers from the English speaking countries of Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. The purpose of the operation was to practice military operations together. All units were to deploy to Afghanistan within a year.

Directly responsible for lobbying NATO and Non-NATO nations for training and equipment support for both the Afghan Army and the Afghan Police. Further responsible for the tracking of the accepted support and ensuring its delivery into the combat theater. Briefed in country commands of incoming equipment and training personnel and also briefed upon request the NATO civilian and military leaders via teleconferences from Afghanistan to Brussels, Belgium. Bottom-line served as the primary advocate for both the American and Afghan people.

Served as the team leader of an 8 man team that was originally intended to deploy to Iraq. About 1 week out of deployment...I was instead sent to Afghanistan to become the J-4 of the Combined Transition Command-Afghanistan.

Responsible for all Division level logistical plans. Served as the primary advisor to the Division commander on logistical matters. Equipped over 300 soldiers who were preparing for a deployment to Iraq. Set in place proper procedures (throughout the division) 9 western states, of accounting for all divisional property. Prepared for personal deployment to Afghanistan
