Aviation Safety Officer
Battalion ASO for 1-140th AHB, that is Assault not attack. Left there for a staff job with 91st Training Division at Fort Hunter-Liggett, CA, in the reserve again. Got hurt at work and asked for a temporary profile and the Division Surgeon made me retire instead.

I am not sure when we were all transferred into the Cal Guard. Left call guard to go back to Reserves as a Aviation Safety Officer for the Army Safety Augmentation Detachtment out of Georgia.

retired due to injuries that were not of my own mischief. or something like that. waiting to turn 58 so I can get paid. the good news is the commander here likes me and wants me to stick around.

Aviation Safety Officer for Task Force 140, 1st Batt, 40th CAB. Battle Captain for a portion of the deployment. ASO and finally made AMC.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Individual augmentee, CFLCC Safety Office Kuwait, working with LTC Robert Cendrowski and CW4 Seamus O'Shea. Then to Bagram to manage the airfield.

Exercise Veneto Rescue
These dates are a guess. Had a great time with some very senior warrants, Garry A. etc. saw lots of roman ruins and some great restaraunts.

Operation Bright Star - Egypt
Individual Augmentee assigned to 377th TSB working for Gen Jaeger. Then assigned to work the CFLCC staff as well after that safety officer was sent to Kuwait to investigate the destruction of aircraft from a storm. It was fun briefing Gen Franks.
