Deployed to Afghanistan with this organization from 2011-12. Provides COMSEC, radio, and networking support. Providing networking capabilities for more than 1100 personnel and five subordinate units. Operated an IT helpdesk and resolved computer issues for subscribers

Led the six communications sections in this battalion in preparation for deployment for Afghanistan. This battalion didn't deploy as a whole. We rotated companies and my responsibility was to ensure each company's communications sections were trained and certified before deploying

Drill Sergeant in A Co, 1-46 IN for about a year. Promoted to SFC, and went A Co, 46AG to be Senior Drill Sergeant at Reception. Proudly brought the civilians off the bus and "welcomed " to the US Army as the first they saw. I loved it!

Setup and maintained radio retransmission points, established local area network for 5000 subscribers. Escorted convicted prisoners from Baghdad to Kuwait. routinely performed as a convoy commander on resupply missions
