Selected by the Nebraska Adjutant General (TAG) and State Senior Enlisted Adviser with primary responsibility for the management and oversight of all aspects related to the leadership courses conducted in a school house environment. Responsible for long term planning of the schools operation. Develop, approve and implement policy and guidance for daily operations. Develop and implement Risk Management procedures. Managed personnel to include hiring and firing as well as training, mentoring, rewards and discipline. Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with local and federal requirements. Review of the organization to optimize use of resources and maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

CSM and Operations SGM
Responsible for all mission related tasks including training and mentoring individuals in police operations. Responsible to identify, develop and implement training environments that provide realistic experiences and improve the effectiveness of the organization. Ensure risk management matrices are current and followed in the routine duties of the operation. Conduct interviews to gather facts and statements to determine and implement appropriate outcomes. Communicate in writing to higher headquarters both formally and informally. Responsible for welfare and fitness of individuals.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
Operations SGM for the theatre detention facility. Safety, security, morale and training were all at the top of the daily priorities. Managed the current and future operations given very limited resources and constantly changing variable to the complex international facility. Selected as the CSM for the Battalion late into the operation.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Managed daily operations for the organization consisting of 1,600 Soldiers and approximately 700 vehicles. Provided transportation of all types of cargo (fuel, ammunition, vehicles, and supplies) in and around MNDB. Managed and monitored stocked levels of water, food, fuel and other supplies and resupply to 30 different geographical locations.
