Jan 1993 - Mar 1994
Paralegal NCO
Worked at a Consolidated Legal Center for I Corps although assigned to 3rd Infantry Battalion, 2nd ACR (Light). Duties included assignment as military paralegal to the OIC, Trial Defense Services. Unit was reflagged as 2d Sqdrn, 2d ACR during BRAC in 1994; regiment moved to Fort Polk, Louisiana.
Jun 1992 - Jan 1993
Paralegal NCO
Assigned as AGR during convalescent leave for injuries sustained in the line of duty. Pretty much sat in a small office and processed paperwork for reservists that did not show up for weekend drill. Nothing exciting really happened except for an increase in personal coffee consumption.
Jan 1990 - Jun 1992
Paralegal NCO
Worked in a consolidated legal center and did rotations in Legal Assistance (for overseas free income tax filing), processed legal separations, Article 15s, and courts-martial. Did other duties as assigned. From November 1990 through June 1991, attached/deployed on a TDY status in support of 2/2 FA, DivArty, 8th ID for Desert Shield/Storm. In both roles, simply did my job to the best of my ability AND without much oversight. While at the Consolidated Legal Center, I formally began my coffee addiction.
