Operation New Dawn (OND)
Commanding Officer – 23rd Military History Detachment (MHD), IRAQ: Manage program of history. Educate command re accurate doctrine of MHD, organization, training, and personnel. Collect historical annotations and research of missions of units. MHD interviewed 372 personnel (personally interviewed 150) travelling throughout Iraq and Kuwait.

Effects Officer, IRAQ: MILITARY TRANSITION TEAM: Advised two staff sections of an Iraqi Brigade – Administrative and Civil Affairs Officers. United States Army working with Iraqis to increase efficiency of respective entities, personnel accountability, and planning. More than 100 combat patrols; Collected historical information and imagery.
