Bio

Served in the Corps for four years as a POG. Finance. Got up to Corporal for what it's worth, did well by the people around me, and made sure I took as best care of the people above and below me as I possibly could, then I got out to do other things. Never saw any action, I am uncertain what to say about that, I'd say it's a regret, but I don't expect people to believe me, so it is what it is.

Military Experiences

Mar 2012 - Mar 2014
III MEF
Pay Clerk
Did reports when I first got there, the same job I did back in Parris Island. After awhile I promoted, basically doing the same stuff since reports are really just looking for errors in the system, the only difference was now I was looking over the reports others did, and looking over the work done by the Marines in all other aspects of pay deck work. Looked over Travel claim workups, looked over pay adjustments, did a lot of QA, and a fair bit of restructuring training plans, file organization, and maintenance of more 'general' Marine Corps bullshit unrelated to my work. At the end, I did help admin units and other shops develop tools for their organization since I had largely phased out my responsibilities to make a smooth transition out of the Corps.
Feb 2010 - Mar 2012
H&S Bn
Pay Clerk
Getting broken in and ultimately doing a pretty damn good job on reports before transferring responsibilities to a Marine that I think did it even better than me.

I'm out, and far enough out now that I can't be recalled.
