Responsible for integrating the Eighth Coast Guard District's Response, Prevention and Western River's Division efforts in operations planninig and performance evaluation in the largest Coast Guard District comprised of 7 Sectors covering 26 states and the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). Managed the District's Standard Operational Planning Process (SOPP) to implement Commandant, Atlantic Area and the District Commander's budget and mission priorities. Administered the $100 million Port Security Grant Program. Managed professional training for the District including Ready for Operations and maintenance programs for a small boat fleet of 240 boats. Supervised 20 Officers, 3 Enlisted, and 5 Civilians. Managed $900K budget.

Oversaw largest and most diverse waterways management program in the Coast Guard ensuring safety and security of 12,000 miles of waterways spread across 26 states and the Gulf of Mexico. Coordinated mission execution through 7 program managers and 42 operational units (800+ active duty and reserve military employees). Managed a $7M annual budget. Ensured 800+ personnel, 42 vessels/shore units, and funds were effectively managed for the Coast Guard’s Homeland Security, Search & Rescue and Maritime Protection & Safety mission execution throughout the Gulf of Mexico, the Intracoastal Waterway and the Western Rivers. Coordinated Marine Transportation System Recovery for the Gulf of Mexico, Intracoastal Waterway and the Western Rivers following natural disasters or man-made disruptions.
