Except for my career working in the military, I worked for the Kendall Corporation for 7 years programming in the genius calibration section.I had to keep the mainframe up using C++. I was instrumental in implementing and bring the Apache server up and into daily operations.

Unit 1sg of 310 soldiers before deploying overseas. Unit was to perform various missions such as convoy security, transportation, field maintenance at a DS-GS level, mobile kitchen operations to support each of our active slice elements of our infantry BN. The mission change was fluid and changed every second as everyone expected and ultimately only a slice element of 69 went to theatre of Afghanistan and I was in charge of 69 soldiers. Rest of my high speeds went to Kuwait and I had to keep continuity between the FSG in the state, Kuwait and Afghanistan.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan

I deployed with a slice of a Forward Support Company to provide convoy security along Highway 1 which assisted the 2/108th Infantry BN to extract Italian Army's from their embedded locations and to help close their COP's and FOB's.
