Unit Training Officer

Special Operations Command Joint Forces Command | Naval Station Norfolk, VA

Reserve training Officer for the Special Operations Command of JFCOM. Involved with the training and FTX for deploying Active and Reserve forces. Specifically JSOTF (Joint Special Ops Task Force) units. SOF Plans writer, wrote OPORDERS during FTXs and an OPORDER while in Iraq for Civil Affair Forces in MND-N. Also a certified SOLE (Spec Ops Liaison Officer) to the JFACC (Joint Forces Air Component Commander) to ensure integration and de-confliction of SEALs and Green Beret A-Teams in the AOR. NOBCs awarded: 9294 - SEAL SDV Officer, 9065 - Staff Ops and Plans, COIN (Counter-Insurgency) Graduate, 9051 - Logistics Officer

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan

OIC Casualty Affairs Branch for all US casualties from OEF. FWD deployed to Doha, Qatar at Al Aldeid AFB aT CENTCOM FWD. Oversaw all reports generated, ensuring items were correct and timely. Later, as an add on, assumed OIC for all of US forces CENTCOM FWD within HQ BLDG. Ensured meetings at the building by General Officers went smoothly.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)

XO for the 402nd Civil Affairs Battalion deployed to FOB SPEICHER it Tikrit, Iraq. Formed a working TOC that set the example for all other CA forces in Iraq. Worked closely with DoS and personnel in PRTs located within MND-N to restore Iraqi Governance in the Northern provinces.
