Trained Platoon for rapid deployment operations in security of American Assets abroad. Attended Marine Corps Basic Security Guard Course, Advanced Urban Combat Course, NBC Course. Deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and supervised surveillance and security operations along 17.5 miles of fenceline.

Served as Rifle Platoon Sergeant and was responsible for the care and conduct of Rifle Platoon. Trained 45-man Rifle Platoon under the direction of the Platoon and Company Commanders. Maintained accountability for personnel and equipment and reported directly to Platoon Commander. Maintained logistical and administrative issues regarding the platoon. Prepared and maintained Forward Operating Base security and assisted Platoon Commander in the operations of the platoon.

Received certification as a Coxswain for the 31st MEU Boat Company. The MEU was diverted to the Middle East where we participated in Operation al Fajr. The Battle for Fallujah.
