Was available for Reserve or Active duty without having to actively participate in Reserve activities. This occured due to my job that required me to travel extensively not allowing me to attend drills.

Sailed the ship to Naval Station San Diego for Refresher Training
Then went to CG station Long Beach for flight deck certification.
Did humanitarian work in Costa Rico and Panama.
Sailed through the Panama Canal to Portsmouth, Va our Home-port
After a couple of weeks went to CG Shipyard Baltimore, MD for retro fitting of the ship.

Loaded and inventoried all of the supplies for the new ship.
Became certified as a watch stander (Throttleman) on the engine control room for GQ and special condition.
Prepared TAMPA for underway operations.
