Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Participated in the invasion of Iraq as part of the 26th MEU. Afterwards we retrograded to the ships and spent the following months conducting training operations with other nations in the Mediterranean region, Horn of Africa and Persian Gulf before being ordered to the coast of Sierra Leone and Liberia for Operation Sheltering Sky in Liberia.
