Installation Watch Officer
Serves as a watch officer in the Installation Operations Center during non-duty hours, serving, in effect, as the Installation Staff Duty Officer. Prepares and in many cases operations and serious incident reports to higher headquarters. Maintains communications with higher, lower and adjacent headquarters. Places exceptional emphasis on safeguarding of classified material and information and provides over watch of operations security for the command. Ensures that internal control Systems are followed. Documents all situations and events that occur during his watch.
