Assistant Brigade Operations Officer (S3)
Assistant Brigade Operations Officer for a Brigade Combat Team, organized to deploy as a modular brigade to conduct Unified Land Operations in support of a Division, Joint Task Force, or Multinational Force. Responsible for assisting in training, executing operations, planning, resourcing, force development, and modernization in support of a 3,842 Soldier Brigade Combat Team; Assist the Brigade Operations Officer in accomplishing brigade level exercises to provide detailed and honest feedback on tested systems and concepts providing Army leaders the information necessary to make clear acquisitions decisions. Assist with supervision of the Brigade Combat Team Operations Section, which includes Fires, Operations, Aviation, Chemical, Force Modifications, Planning, and Engineer Staff Sections.

Assistant Operations Officer (S3)
Assistant Operations Officer for a Cavalry Brigade consisting of three Squadrons and a Headquarters and Headquarters Company with over 1.000 Soldiers and Civilians. Responsible for planning, coordinating, synchronizing the training, course development, and future initiatives for 11 Armor School Courses that train more than 1,500 Maneuver leaders annually. Responsible for production of operations orders, task trackers, future operations, reports to higher headquarters, briefing slides, and external scheduling. Assists in the training management of all Initial Military Training and functional courses to include Armor Officer Basic Course, Master Gunner Courses, Army Reconnaissance Course, and the Cavalry Leaders Course.
