- Developed evaluation criteria and led observation group for FBI/FEMA Domestic Emergency Response Team’s first functional exercise; provided written report on improvements to deployment process adopted by FEMA
- Led DTRA support team and planning effort in support of a Joint Exercise Control Group for CBRN response exercise in Middle East supporting US and partner nation objectives regarding counter-proliferation and Proliferation Security Initiative

Federal Team Leader for Office of Emergency Response (NA-42) Joint Technical Operations Team (JTOT). Advise officials at Departments of Energy, Justice, Defense, State, FBI and CIA on concepts, policies, and actions involving nuclear weapons safety, emergency management, and other agency response functions. Lead team from five to 15 scientists, engineers, and other specialists responding to radiological and nuclear incidents. Manage and track inter-agency training budget over $13 million and readiness for over 300 volunteer responders.
- Trained 20 interagency and 150 military personnel on radiological/nuclear response capabilities and limitations; developed interagency training materials and increased personnel’s awareness of Federal response capabilities

- Conducted/assessed 40 force protection exercises testing installations ability to respond to CBRNE threats in accordance with CJCSI 3214.01D and providing findings
- Developed collaborative process integrating partner nation capabilities increasing commander’s ability to implement EOD coordination and assist in command decisions
- Participated in 4 CBRNE-related exercises, assisted in development of scenarios
- Trained in radiological/nuclear search procedures using applicable detectors and proper transmittal of data to proper agency for interpretation

Executive Agent for Army EOD tasking and coordination for EOD support to US Secret Service and State Department, conventional and special ground forces, and coalition forces on a requested basis. Coordinate support of 16 Air Force personnel; Theater of Operations to determine EOD priorities. Manage 60 Army and Air Force EOD technicians.
