Section Leader/Training Chief
Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) Section Leader over 45 Marines. We were responsible for millions of dollars of aircraft and structural fire support for the entire Marine Corps Air Station. Responsible for all in-flight emergency, aircraft salvage. As the training chief for the entire ARFF unit, I was responsible for scheduling, developing and tracking all military and firefighting related training requirements.
Mar 1998 - Mar 1999
NCOIC
NCOIC for RSS Salina, I was an NCOIC on production. I had one canvassing recruiter to assist me in support of 105 High Schools and Community Colleges. I took a failing RSS that had not written a contract in 6 months, and had not made mission in 9 months to a stationed that could be counted on to make mission monthly. We made mission 11 of the 12 months I was the NCOIC, and wrote 250% of our mission the last month I was there.
