In 1998 I joined the NY National Guard and worked as a mechanic and transferred to active duty in November of 1999. I Served 14 years in the Army with 5 Deployments. On March 27,2013 I was medically discharged from the the 101st Airborne.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
I served with another Vehicle Mechanic on Combat Outpost Zerok for less than 6 months as a Maintenance Support Team NCOIC, Water transfer pump, Fuel station and we supported a company of infantry soldiers. I went back to Forward Operating Base Orgun-E where I was based out of and I was the Section Sgt in charge of the Generation and Hvac Section

I worked as a mechanic in my unit maintenance facility the first three month, then I worked the mayors cell on base my jobs were to escort the locals to and from the Entry control point (ECP), watch over them throughout the day, key control, and resupply low stockage

I served as the NCO in charge of the toolroom, and heating & air conditioning mechanic that fixes the uparmored hummers

I served with my unit 801st MSB, 101st Abn Div. as a Chemical Equipment
Repairer. We started at Camp Pennsylvania, Kuwait, we then moved twice before we getting to our final destination Camp Diamondback. I had the job of pulling security, doing the job of the ncoic for guard. Had a three month escort mission from the Turkey border to Mosul
