Squad Leader
I have conducted numerous operations as the Sections/Squad Leader. These operations were night raids, patrols, ambush patrols, satellite patrols and capturing of High Valued Targets. My unit helped capture weapons cache, IEDmaking materials, suspected terrorists, or also know as high valued targets. Our mission was to seek,locate, and destroy the enemy. But as time changes, we had to adapt. I had to train Iraqi forces in daily combat operations in order to conduct a change of command and having Iraqi soldiers take over for themselves.

Infantry Teamleader. Bravo squad. 3rd platoon.
The deployment was consisting of a major offensive operation in an area where no American military has been. The goal of this deployment was to take back the Taliban held territories and give the land back to the civilian population. The unit killed over A dozen enemy combatants during the operation. We have also stabilized the area and helped built schools, and stimulated the economy.

Scout
On the battlefield conducted recon patrols, night raids, security patrols, and combat operations. At times we were in charge of protecting high ranking officials during key leader engagements. Detained suspected terrorists, and confiscated weapons. During stability operations, I was a key component to providing over watch for my squad.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Afghanistan
I volunteered to deploy with 3rd battalion 4th Marines, Lima company conducting one of the major surges into Taliban held territories. My duties were involving drug interdiction, in order to capture or kill enemy combatants that were supplying drugs to fund their operations. My unit conducted a surge The President ordered to be carried out.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
As a squad leader, me and my Marines were conducting police operations along side the Iraqi police and it's allied forces. My unit was charged with he security of the people of East Karmah , Iraq. As a squad leader I was in charge of ever seeing night raids on enemy positions with Iraqi forces. I was also involved of training the Iraqi forces.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
Conducted combat operations in hostile environment in the vicinity of HIT. Detained known and suspected terrorist. Conducted operations in order to confiscate assault rifles and rpg's from the local populace. Conducted recon patrols for 3rd light armored reconnaissance unit as a scout. Conducted high speed night raids while being a scout.
