I've been told that I'm one of those civilians that just "gets it." In my various roles at a Naval aviation Command, I've always assessed the ways in which my work benefits the fleet. Is what I am doing today benefiting the safety, performance, and lives of the warfighter? What can I do to make a difference in this domain? I found the answer-- Hire a veteran (and design better systems!).
