Ground Combat Element Training Officer
Directed the resourcing, manning and conduct for 16 separate training exercises with a throughput of 80,000 personnel and managed a $45 million operating budget. Ensured exercise scenario integrated key leader negotiations, rapport building, assessment, SWOT analysis, in order to facilitate integration of exercise forces with Afghan Security Forces. Wrote all plans, policies, directives and procedures that governed the exercise, subsequently adopted as the policies for the entire Marine Corps.

Program manager responsible for designing, implementing and managing security force assistance training program. Program trained 2500 personnel how to: negotiate, construct a SWOT analysis and assessment, design and implement a training plan while working with foreign military units. Program of instruction immersed students into the cultural and social frame work encountered as part of their operational environment. Particular emphasis was placed on conducting assessments of partnered security forces, and refining negotiating/influencing skills.

Iraqi units were rated best in Iraqi Army operating independently from coalition forces. As a result of my efforts, battalion was rated 1 of 106 active Iraqi Battalions. Developed multiple staff training courses.
